Some pics of RAII hood and fiberglass spoiler on my TTA
Here is a link to some pics of my TTA w/ www.ramairhood.com hood and spoiler. They were both very good quality peices, i just have to make a small adjustment to the drivers side near the headlight to make it fit correctly.

Other then that, i think it looks awesome, and the spoiler won't crack anymore!

Looks pretty good.
Just do what you want, it's your car and you drive it.
Some people don't like my cars, but they're mine and I do what I want to them.

Im not leaving this TTA stock at all, I drive my TTA not garage it. Its no show quality tta, and I saved the stock hood, just in case i wanna put that back on.
Why would u want to leave a tta "stock"? just for value reasons? Or just "stock" appearing?
Its such an easy car to get into the 12's and 11's, I don't know why you would want to run mid 13's all day:lala:
Keep the low milage TTA's stock, trailer queens, mines got over 120k on it, some day i'll buy another one.
I gotta get a new host for my page, geocities bandwidth is weak! but is free... can't complain!

They want you to leave it stock because they dont know what is what. Some people love to tell you what to do with your car. I think it looks good. And has the performance to back it up. Let us know when you do make it to 12s/11s

this year i've ran 11.82@115mph on pump gas and alky. A few years ago I was running 12.2's at 117 mph, but that was race gas/ high timing... I haven't ran race gas in a while now... I should be able to squeeze some low 11 second time slips out of it with the stock unopened motor.
I have upgraded turbo,downpipe,injectors,chip,3200 stall....

i agree with the idea of leaving the tta stock. Its the whole collectors idea and it just feels wrong to mod a car that is a collector car. However if you dont give a damn about it being a collector then i understand modding it. I think the general concensus was that if you wanted to mod the hell out of a bird to buy a normal trans am and do the same stuff to it rather then ruin the collector piece. (btw i dont believe in trailor queening cars either just like the collectors in their stock form)
There are enough Stock TTA's out there to mod one......
Attach the pictures because i can't see them...
One suggestion, I think it would look cool as hell if you made it your own version of an anniversary replica(blue stripes, white leather, etc)

it was said there are enough tta's out there that modding one is fine and im not going to comment on that because i have no idea as to what the production numbers on the tta's were. To Pablo keeping the car stock imo has less to do with the investment (although it is a portion of it) it has more to do with history. Imagine the bragging rights of the guy who will have the last bone stock tta on the planet thats the exact same as when it rolled off the assembly line. Its more about respecting the history and the fact that its a rare car if you were a true car enthusiast you would understand...theres something special about a bone stock collectors item.

honestly if i had a tta i probably would mod the hell out of it too because i have a need for speed. However i also understand where people are coming from when they say whyd you mod it because having a factory tta would be so cool. Just giving a more detailed reason for not modding because people who were against the mods didnt seem to want to elaborate....btw good job on breaking into the 11's hope i can find the funds to join ya there in the next couple years.

I'd love to have a stock, low mileage tta also in my collection, but they are just too expensive to keep and not drive much. They are too fun not to drive!
I just don't see the point of buying a tta in 1989 for 34k and storing it all these years and not driving it. Its worth less now. Maybe some day it will appreciate in value, but not likely.
Only 1555 of these cars made, but they just don't seem to hold their value.
I personally think a TTA is one of the best buys in a sports car, alot better deal then a new LS1. U could find a decent TTA for 10k and run just as fast as a new ls1 stock for stock.
Gotta respect the low mileage tta owners who are preserving a peice of history... just not something for me.:hail:

Nice TTA, I can appreciate leaving a low mileage original TTA original for collectors sake, but there are plenty of higher mileage TTA's out there that are not pristine and I wouldn't even bother spending money ot return to clean stock when you can make it better. Thats pretty much my feeling on all classic or collectors cars. If its already beautiful low mileage original leave it that way. If you gotta put money into it build it better than the factory. If you have cash and are going to buy something take your pick I would personally rather spend 10K on a modded car thats done right than a stock vehicle of the same value. If your a driver you understand this.

sweet ride dream, U might want to consider taking out the Spring for the hood.
I did that to my hood, and it lined up better, the spring keeps the front up a bit.
It still pops without the spring...

I love that hood on your car no matter if its a collector, you dont wanna be one of those people with a car thats 15+ years old and only 2500 miles on it. Collect baseball cards , stamps , things like that and dont do anything to em' but not a car made to drive!
