I was polishing my valve covers , pulleys, air cleaner, etc yesterday, and when I stepped back to admire my work I noticed that my engine bay isnt looking so hot, I painted it all black last year and now its looking worn out, so I am trying to decide wether to clean it and paint it black again or to paint it blue which is the color of my car, I havent seen a nice looking blue engine bay so I was wondering if anyone has a pic of theres to help me decide, I appreciate it. Ever thought of painting it high gloss black so that its all shiny? That is what I am thinking of doing.

 

Yeah , thats what I was going to do if I dont like the blue thing, I was just looking at some pics earlier and it seems that blue would look better with my chrome/red color scheme I have going under the hood of my car.Oh and I did the search you suggested 89cmrodriver and i couldnt find any good pictures.Thanks though.

 

mines blue, looks pretty sweet or i think so anyways not totally done but heres what i have

84 coupe 350 v8 edelbrock performer rpm 4 barrel, edelbrock performer rpm intake, chrome valve covers, edelbrock 14" air cleaner, edelbrock sig series breather, accel distributor and supercoil. riding on centerline aluminum mags 11" wide rear cooper cobras.custom fiberglass dual 12" subwoofer box, 2 pioneer 12" subs, 650 watt amp, pioneer deck, and in progress- 2 1/2" cowl scoop by harwood
