Ceramic coated looks the best, IMO. Pics are on my webpage and Cardomain page, link is in the sig.

Don't listen to these guys... they are not speaking from experience.

All of the bad stuff you hear about header wrap is wives tales.

I ran it on my headman shorties and had no problems whatsoever. I put a thick coating of white VHT over the header wrap and that sealed it.... I love the look and I'm keeping it.

Its opinion, not fact. I said "Ceramic coated looks the best, IMO" I have my headers coated, and I like them. Thats my experience, just like yours are wrapped and that is your experience. He can compare pics and make his own decision.

I've had both and i think wrap looks like trash and my ceramic lasted considerbly longer as well if you can afford it hot coat is the way to go but wrap is cheap and effective as well it just doesn't look as good

I believe header wrap is cost effective and when applied properly will look and function quite well. If you're to be picky about cosmetics then ceramic coating is the cleaner look. I've got ceramic coated headers on my '72 Nova, and it wasn't too cheap, however the reduced heat, and awesome aluminum look was worth the expense. But yes, header wrap can be quite fucntional and look fine. Headers aren't supposed to be the prettiest thing in the engine compartment anyway.

[All opinion based on personal experience]

From my experience they look better and last way longer if you saturate the wrap with VHT after it's on.

I will likely have my next set jet coated, but I think these will last me many years to come.

Cermakrome will look better than header wrap, be just as effective as jet hot (without looking quite so pretty), and should be about the same price / cheaper than header wrap. It just takes a little work. (We're talking 6-7 hours, tops)
