i thought about doing something like that for my tailights, i have black outs in the back and a friend at work was tellin me that ram chargers ( i dont know if u have that where u are.) makes black outs that say z28 when u hit the brakes, i've never seen it myself but i was thinkin about takin my blackouts off and stencil in iroc-z then paint the surronding areas black so no light goes thru, but i'd be really pist if it didnt turn out right!

That's a really creative idea, if you get it done take some pictures and post them. I think Leahs88irocz had the right idea as far as making it, perhaps a stenciled design would be good to paint around. But that might be rather difficult if you're as bloody clumsy as I am.

What I would do is create a small window sticker with what I wanted written on it and stick it on the brake light - then I would paint the light and remove the sticker. Of course, you probably don't have the program and materials to do such a thing. So the stencil might be your cheapest option.

Hope something in my ramblings helps!

My 3rd brake light is in the hatch glass but same concept, so I used sheet metal and cut out my design, painted it flat black and hot glued it to the inside of the light housing. Hope it this helps.
