More Body Mods...?......Crappy photoshop of my idea inside....

Basically, shave the sidemarkers and replace the parking lights with fog lights....

Then wire the foglights to blink like regular blinkers.....

Trying to clean up the front and get rid of those crappy parking lights, too dam big, and with the aftermarket foglights, i get better lighting and the opportunity for them to be blue and match my headlights.....

Excuse the crappy photoshop and let me know what you think....

Basically, yeah. Get some NEW units and mod them to be "euro" style like a few members around here have, then put a "superwhite", blue, or LED bulb in there. I have white LED's in all the turn signals and side markers and they match my 5200K headlights quite well. In fact, they're a bit on the purple side (7000-8000k). I've seen shaved side markers look good, and think it would be fine; very sleek with the shaved handles. That front area where the turn signals are is so large, anything smaller would look stange. Shaved front turn signals IMHO look like AS_s, and foglight turn signals just seems rank. Euro-ed out front turn signals would do the trick. I practiced with my old units and it's not too hard. Just dremel the lens off, yank the poopy diffused section out, then either re-affix the original lens, or a lot of people used plexiglass. I want to do it to match my headlights (all 4 h4 euro diamondcut) but am too chicken to go demolishing new turn signal housings

I'd do it. Those huge pockets just for turn signals kill the looks of the camaro nose imo. Shave them completely, or even your idea looks nice.

ouch but true thats gotta be hurting ya in competitions. If you do the mods youre talking about FYI its not legal to shave your side markers and its not legal to have turn signals in any other colour then yellow (it has to flash yellow the cover doesnt have to be but the bulb at least does) although most cops will never notice and dont care its just a heads up. As to the thought i agree the turn signals look like crap but just wait a couple months i should have some pics of something that youre absolutly going to love

If only it could be done in photoshop....

19doug90, as far as the turn signals being yellow.....I haven't had yellow turn signals in about 7 months.......there are all white bulbs on the front and all red on the back.....

How about some motor mods now!!?? Back up that look a little. Just my opinion. I mean the car was just done this year right? Give it some time before oyu touch it again, atleast get your money's worth for a little bit! Did you ever get that fire damamge fixed, i forget. If you need the car to be done again, then yeah, do some more carp to it, but if it was redone, leave it alone. Thats just me. Get it somewhat quick now.

if you take out those side markers, then when your pulling out into the street tweaked at an angle a bit... how will the ppl see your turning signal? Or changing lanes on the highway? ppl next to you? What sounds better is if you can get some kind of paint that matches and paint over some clear peice of plastic and only have it light up when blinking, not permatly lit. *srugs*

i agree 100% for the most part i try not to remove any safety device on my car. Not to mention the fact that if you shaved it youd have to get that panel repainted and ya dont wanna have to do that. Put some money either into your engine or an RRSP your car doesnt need much if anything exterior wise its got enough done

Do it! It looks neat, would be nice and bright, and be wicked unique!

Plus, that photoshop isn't too bad, I thought that was a pic of someone else's car who had done this mod and you wanted to do it also! (Then I saw your sig)

am i the only one that thinks it flows well already the way it is. i think the blue fog/turning lights woulds screw up the looks of the front end. i also really like your sidemarker lights the way they are.

I don't see why you would shave the side markers... They don't hurt anything IMO, and no Im not speaking from a "safety" or "lawful" standpoint. The foglighs don't look right to me at all...

My plan it to just blackout the Side Markers and Front Parking lights... Since my car is black anyway, I think that would look pretty good.

If you all about shaving things, why don't you shave and fill that whole area where the blinkers go, and instead of putting the foglights there, put them behind your grill, that way, you'll only see them when the lights are on. That'd be pretty clean looking. Don't know about how legal or safe though.

They are there right now.......They don't light up the road at all due to the fact the lines in the grille are pretty close, and they also look kind odd when they are on too....

If you got rid of those headlights, the grill, and the spoiler I think you would be set. Then get some hp cause I know it hurts to be beat up by Hondas.
