I used to be sold on the draglites until I saw a picture of a 1989 Turbo T/A in HPP magazine with pro stars. The pro stars look far better than the draglites do. JMHO!

agreed.. they are both pretty crappy rims. that is, unless you intend to use them for only track purposes. For the street, they are for wannabe pro-stockers.

For firebird's, the firehawk rims are the best damn looking rims to ever put on. For GTA's, the orig. gold cross laced matches perfect. For normal Trans Am's, anything looks good.

How are they wannabe pro-stock wheels? I think weld wheels are the best wheels for street strip cars... Not enough bling for you?

It's a very strong, very lightweight wheel that is great for strip and street applications. They are only weak if you are running the skinnies up front. How are they crappy?

I had them on my 92 and loved them, no problems at all. I don't ever remember trying to be like a pro stocker either...

i think the draglites and prostars look good on either the camaro's or bird's just depends on the stance of the car and the color that desides which rims look better. for me i got the prostars sorry not the best pic i have of mine yet.

the only reason I'd put either of those types of rims on my car is only on the rears with slicks. Looks have nothing to do with it.

IIRC the engine bay is immaculate!! Overall the car seems to be very clean, and STOCK looking, which is more impressive to me than a spoiler, hood, and big flashy wheels. The thing must haul ***.

here are my pro stars...the lighter the wheel... the less reciprocating mass...the more power to the ground...the faster the car is.

What's with the white band on the tires? No offense, but I don't think you're in danger of slipping the rim with an LG4

ITs to watch and see if your spinning off the line, i have either my friends or family video tape my runs so i can see if im spinning off the line. i know i cant slip the tire on the rim, just yet. plus my little LG4 isnt all stock, the only thing stock on it are the heads but the cam is close enuff to be a stock cam.
