Emblem idea
I was thinking of filling in the endentations where the stock emblems go on the sides of the car, then paint. Then buy some first gen z/28 emblems in chrome and put them there. Anyone done this? I think it would look nice on a car with chrome wheels.

I saw someone that did this to the grill at a show. It looked o.k. a little out of place tho. Personally I would either keep the emblems that are there or completely delete them. But it would be a nice original custom thing to do, youd have to do the back too tho

Yea I was thinking the same thing. Fill in the indentation on the bumper and put a chrome CAMARO emblem in the center somewhere maybe. Just ideas at this point.

Sounds like a cool idea here, how about maybe the 4th gen z28 fender tags where you filled the stock holes? They sit pretty much flush on the car.

EDIT: Actually, in one of the newer HotRod's there's a white vert with an LS1, SS Hood, Z06 Rims, and 4th Gen emblems - It looks like he didn't even smooth that area first, the appear to be sitting in the recess.

Yo TPIROC, click on the Third Gen Resource link at the top of the page, you might find that white Z to be very familiar.
Oh, and I have 4th gen fender emblems in the stock locations, they look good there.
I do not have a good pic of it though, and I've had them there for years now.

Ok, I finally got my hands on a digi camera. I took these at night and there is still snow on the road, so I appologize for the dirty car. There are more pics on my website at http://oldbluez.cz28.com/photo.html
Here is the 4th gen Z28 in the stock thirdgen location:

Putting some 1st Gen emblems on might be pretty cool. And you know, I am almost positive that I saw someone's car here with them before.
