Looking good so far, but don't forget either the powerbulge hood or the vented hood to make your Jedi skills complete! Also, the front fenders need to have the side vent louvers as well, then you'll have your T/A replicar!! I do like the ground effects, though, very classy and much better than the introductory ones on the '84 model T/A's. Have you decided on a color to go with the new look?
Anyway, definately thumbs up! Everything looks to line up perfectly! Kudos!

ya know i've always thought about doing that my car but i heard that i would have to swap my front fenders cuz of the vent deal...did u just fiberglass over them and attach them like normal or what?

i have the power bulge hood you cant really see it in the pics but i wanted to swap fenders but the mounting bolt on the bottom for each side is severly bent up and i cant get the bolt out. so untill i figure out what i can do i'm just gunna spend the money to buy a 2 in cowl hood

Aww man, I was hoping someone was going to put a bulge hood with 85-90 gfx, that looks awesome. :hail:
If it was me I would polish up a set of stock 16" wheels and put the rest into paint.

Sounds pretty sharp here.

I have a black set of gta wheels that are going on the camaro, but they are getting polished up and refinished in charcoal. I attached a picture of the charcoal wheels, they did have that color stock but it is pretty rare.

And here are the black ones for comparison. Personally I think the charcoal looks much less bland, but that's just me.
Good luck with the project!

Go to my car domain site thats under the first pic it has the pics before i put the bumpers and gfx on. im going to hopefully get som nice side pics tommorow the snow melts. i kinda think the rims i got are good enough for right now. im only 16 i got no job so $500 for wheels and $400 for tires is kinda pushing it right now so im just gunna get tires like the one i have in the back the fronts are to tall and narrow. the gfx make the back tires look so good so i need to get som more pics.

before the gfx and bumpers. i really need to get side pics so i can compare. i thought the gfx might take away some ground clearance but it doest if it wasnt for my exhaust i would lower it to finish the look.

You said that the lower rear screws on the fenders were hidden by the bent metal at the bottom of the fender? Mine were too, but I took and hammered a thin chisel in the small space and opened up that space enough so I could get a pair of vise-grips into that space and bend the metal back so I could get the screw out. It's not that hard, but it is time consuming depending on how bad it's bent.

I say go with wheels like on the T/A next to it in the first pic! Just pull the wheels off , get spacers put them on and then give me the T/A those wheels came off of since it will be no good anymore without wheels!

Looks much better!
My car is a clone too. I did the GFX, bumper covers, aerowing, hood, wheels, tail lights, full WS6 suspension, L98, 9bolt posi disc rear, 140MPH gauge cluster, interior badging, t/a map pocket....just about everything. It's fooled everyone so far

How did you mount the side skirts to the rockers? I will soon be doing the same thing to my '83. I do have a parts car which I can remove the metal supports for them from, but I have no idea how to go about it yet.

Ward the rocker gfx has two studs in the front where it mounts to the fender then in the middle its supported by metal brackets i used self tapping screws to hold up the metal brackets then the rocker piece kinda sits on that the in the back part of it theres another stud but i didnt use it because theres holes on the back end that wraps into the fenderwell and it kept it nice and tight agaisnt the body. the metal brackets i think are plug welded on to the body the guy i bought the brackets from said he used a special drill bit to get them off. at first when i tryed to figure out how the brackets went together i was like wtf do i do. but after staring at them for like an hour i kinda realized they only fit one way and kinda played around with it but since your taking them off you should be able to see how they're supposed to be on there.
