the formula is all done for the year

First snow of the year and we get a foot and a half

i managed to get the cover and tarp over it before the snow, but had to cut a hole because the antenna is bent and would not go down.

what else should i be doing to it, i taped over the exahust pipes and air cleaner so that nothing could get into them, any other suggestions, i will at some point get under the hood and disconnect the battery and i put some sheets of mdf board under all of the tires to keep it from sitting on the ground.

any other suggestions

i would drain the gas out of the tank just to be safe. my gas went sour in my car after only 3 months. i'd probably do an oil change too...no reason really but i would get paranoid that dirty oil is settling in bad places or something. unless you plan on running the car once in a while

You could just use some fuel stabilizer in the tank instead of draining it. You should definately change the oil though unless its fresh. Also might want to put an open box of baking soda in the interior incase you get any moisture leaking in. It'll soak up humidity and get rid of the mildew smell. If it's going to be sitting for more than the winter, I'd put it up on stands also to take all the stress off the suspension. It will make the springs/shocks/struts/bushings last alot longer.

The only thing I can really recommend is a garage. Sitting outside, even with a cover all winter is not very good.

Still better than sloshing it through the metal eating salt, though.
