Powder coating
ok, i posted about this awhile back and i got my Tuned Port today. I gonna take it in to the boss today to see if he'll let me powder coat it..so now i lookin for a yes or a no on weither or not it'll come out ok...before i go and beadblast it and prep it for being painted. At work we have our setup on a convayer belt, where the parts are moving at all time thru our oven. for the paint i am using and such, we will have the oven at 400 for 12 minutes... so..yes or no on being ok to paint em? wanting to take in the upper plenum, Throttlebody, and runners for the first color, and then the second color i am wanting to paint the manifold, and fuel rails.

No real cons to powdercoating. Just a much more durable type of paint really. The biggest con is stripping this ****... it's horrible.

I'm not sure what type of gun setup you use, but if you have an electrostatic clip, where do you usually place it on an item such TPI setups, or do you attach it to metal contacting the item instead?
