u can try to lay down under her, and get a long screwdriver, some of them have a little tab u can hit, if not. maybe u are lucky and the cable is just stretched. then all u gotta do is pull the housing and all out, and give her a longer pull. Try the screwdriver first tho
Sorry I left this part out, The tab should be right by where you normally would be able to pop her up. u CAN get to it, if you have it. U just gotta look hard.

My hood release was sticking a few weeks agao. Once I finaly got it open I sprayed some chain lube on all the moving parts of the hood latch to free them up. Works fine now.

I'll give a look for that tab tomorrow when it's light outside, thanks for the tip.....
The lube probably sounds like a good idea, dirt has probably been building up in there for years......

Did you try having someone hold the lever back and someone pulling up on the front at the same time? If that doesn't work I would try spraying WD40 or some liquid wrench through the hood gap into the latch. If all else fails get under it and find something to push the latch with.

Yeah i would definitly, get a friend to pull back the lever and u just try and pull it up. the lever is probably working, it just doesn't "spring" the hood up...... I wonder why
