A few new paint pics

Here are a few pics of the new paint on the bird. It goes back on the 28th for a buff job and decals. I'll take more pics after the decals and nicer weather but here's 2 pics for now, enjoy

Heavy_Chevy:

Its not black Its dark blue. Everyone always thinks its black until its in the sun and they see the blue metalic in it. Its as close to the factory color as possible without a paint code (couldn't find one anywhere).

Trans Am 88:

Thanks for the complement, u have a sweet ride too.

The paintjob was done by a place called Dealers Only for $1800 (would have been 2.5k but knew someone there). The only reason it was painted was because it was backed into and the insurance had to paint about half the car anyways ($900) so i paid another 1k for the painjob plus the decals there going to put on, on the 28th (wich was $110 more for the decals/stripe kit).

The only body work involved was done by the shop wich included my fender, all the door dings, and a few minor dents on the hood. The smoothed down the whole car and put a sealer over it before they painted it. The bumper ofcourse needed to be sanded and an adhesive put on for the paint to stick to.

The decals are from Phoenix Graphix and are the original style. It comes with the stripe kit, fade dot striping, 3bird decals, and 4 Trans Am decals for $185 including shipping.

Good luck with your ride!
