Pics of my new Roh Wheels installed
Well I finally got my wheels installed and I love them!!
ROH ZS 17x9.5 on Sumitomo HTRZ II's 275/40/17 in the back and 17x8.5 on 245/45/17 in the front.
I also bought a 99 Jeep Cherokee so i didnt have to drive the camaro daily now that everything is done on it.
Before wheels and lowering springs:

What do ya think?

You can't beat the look of those wheels. Did you see they came out with a charcoal/polished finish wheel in this style?? SMOOTH! :hail:

Nice choice of wheel, they look great on thirdgens! I have a set I got for Christmas waiting for tires, which might be a while. Any specific reason you went with 245's on the fronts? Using the handy tire size calculator at http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html I come up with 255 45 17s as having a size closer to the original stock 215 65 15s. Although, I am assuming 255's would fit on the rim. Am I wrong?

The best sizes to make it fit like stock is 245/45/17 in the front on 8.5 inch rims so they will turn completly in the fender and 275/40/17 in the back on 9.5 rims so the speedo will remain correct....thos sizes also have identical sidewall height....
thats what I did anyway

I guess when I meant closer to stock size I was talking about tire diameter. I wasn't considering any rubbing in the sidewall. Which now that I think about it maybe the 255s would do. I was going to call Group A and ask about what style lug nut they recommended for these wheels, I guess I can ask about tire size while I am at it. Anyway, now I know for sure 245s will fit. Hell maybe I can skip the call and ask you- what type of lugs did you end up using? Acorn, etc? Did you get a longer lug due to the deeper rim holes? Thanks.
The 255's fit good. Here is a pic of my 91 Z when I used to run ZS's with the Eibach Sportline springs. They were also the 17x8.5 fronts, 17x9.5 rears, but I used 255/45/17 fronts and 275/40/17 rears. 255 is closer to the stock size than 245's. But its really no big deal. Since this pic was taken, the ZS's have been re-done, powdercoated the spokes black and polished the lip. They look really good! I will get new tires when the 89 RS is complete (these will be going on my track car).

Ok I will play devils advocate, there nice looking rims but for what you probably paid I don't see that much improvement over the stock ones. They both use a 5 leg star design and when those stock camaro rims are polished they look really nice. Unless these offer a fat weight savings for less rotational mass I couldn't justify the change for price value. Then again some people have alot more money to blow than others. Either way beautiful car.

So if you want them, give the arizona store a call and ask for jeff and tell him you are interested in the last 2 9.5 inch ones and he can get you 2 8.5's for the front from the ny location.....

Love the car gen-x. Personally i think that only some cars can pull off the low proflile tire look without appearing r*cy. Your car certainly does the trick.
Just lose the antenna, it really interrupts the clean lines and makes it look like a toy car. Besides i never listen to the radio anyway, i took off the antenna as soon as i bought my car

Man, I wish I'd have found as good of a deal on my wheels as you did...I paid $880, but mine are 17x9.5 all the way around. I don't get any tire rubbing on the front, but I did have to install some thin spacers on the front to get them to clear the tie rod ends. I love being able to rotate the tires front to back, plus it's cool to stuff as much meat under there as you can
