Great to see some engine swaps taking place on this board, i guess it's about that time when our engines are going downhill.......

What exterior mods do you have planned for the car?

well i WAS going to finish the car off with 92gfx (i already have the front nose and lower spoiler) and put in some 81 fender vents (not the same ones you have) and a lil custom thing im doin to the front spoiler , and i still have to put on my z28 highrise.. it should all match up nicely with my ss hood, and i was planning on painting it a very bright color lol.. ill leave it at that.. but anyhow my engine just took a dive last week so i gotta work on drivetrain before appearence considering its my everyday driver.. sad thing is im gonna have to granny it for a while till i can either upgrade my t5 or ****** a t56.. well see how things go.

Just $.02, but leave the A/C in there. You will be glad you did come summer heat or a car show when someone asks why you hacked it out.

Looks nice just the way it is. Except black headlight pockets would look great. Headlight pockets people. Don't forget the headlight pockets. (if it's a Z28 or IROC-Z of course)

A/C delete in Florida?? You're nuts!

Not a fan of carbs, but you can't really argue with 400hp. Looks good.

Very nice man. Good luck with everything! Love the concept drawing too, even the color. What are those, the BC Tuned wheels? They look good in that finish! later

Done right it looks good, but it is pretty rare that someone actually goes through all the trouble and does it right. That, and it still sucks on the 90-100* days.

well i didnt have ac when i bought the car, and 5months after i bought it i had the ac recharged in it.. and i NEVER used it.. even on the hottest days i just never turned it on.. for one i HATe the power loss when ac is on.. so id rather be at full potential minus the added little comfort then sacrafice hp for ac

Power loss? That's all in your head. The A/C clutch cuts out when WOT is detected.

no im talkin about general idleing and everyday driving.. the way my car ran when ac turned on wasnt the best.. and the whole reason is to mainly get rid of the clutter, im tired of it my next car will stay fuel injected with all the options, but this one i want specifically to be mine and eventually make it a weekend driver only when i get a new project.
