There are oval tips similar to the ones on that car. I have seen them before, not those exact ones but very similar...

speaking of that vert, where did the ambers go from the taillights? Its hard to tell from the pic if they are just spray tinted or something else had been done.

Graboid those lenses look awsome. There just the older style lenses with a clear/black mixture over the amber? Very surprising and unique!
Got any close up pics?

i did not start it. I just wanted to show my non-existent tips....
And, of course, someone noticed that, after some modification, the mere RS taillights can look better than the grid style iroc/z28 version. J

Hey Graboid, do you have any close up pics of the painting done to your taillights? And can you still see illumination through the clear/black paint?

theres tons of threds on the tail lights. all you have to do is buff them out to get that shine, no ticks to it. just use a plastic compound.

Tough to go wrong with borla tips, although they are pretty spendy. (Sorry about the crumby pick and the hatch not being flush, my hatch motor quit on me last week.

yeah i really like those ALL red tail lights. i was looking at mine today, and it looks like he's either had those made, or done it his self. it didnt look like they were interchangable to me, but it would be hard to find and old set, cut them up, and mount those red grids into another set of tail lights. although that looks really good, i think i would have left the white grids in, and just had 1 white grid, and the rest all red. anyways, i was looking around and SLP sells some nice tips. i found them on the LMPerformance site, www.lmperformace.com and i think they'd look pretty good. there under the 82-92 TPI link, under exhaust. those magna flow tips several post up ^^^^^ look really good too! and the "no tip look" looks awesome too! i guess it just depends on what you link, diff. people have diff. taste!
