bigger wheels and ground clearence...
now, call me crazy but i have been thinking about this and im slgihtly confused...
Correct me if i'm wrong, but a bigger diameter wheel will allow a car's chassis to be lowered MORE and still maintain the same ground clearence (the bigger wheel moves the spindle hieght up)
i'm right arent i? justthinking, cuz my ground clearence kinda sucks, and im afraid to lower my car due to the fact teh exhuast is gonna hit everywhere i go lol... BUT i'm thikning about going up to a 17 or 18" wheel...

Usually if you get a bigger wheel you get a tire with a smaller sidewall...but if you get a bigger wheel with the same amount of sidewall it will put it up a little bit.

hmm - true, i did not think of sidewal size... i guess maybe a better way to figuer this out would be to go by tire diamter or circumferance......
anyways, thanx... just acting blond this morning lol...
reasonin mentioned the spindle being higher would be due to the larger rim size, ut i failed to think about tire sidewall.
