Thanks.
It needs grill inserts, but for $50 each side, I'll wait.

Ha! Maybe he's slowing down in his old age. The T/A is all one color now too.

Never fear- I'm carrying the torch.

It will be one color later this weekend probably.
Hood inserts are $50 each, so $100 total.
I got the used and it didn't have inserts in it. I may just cut off the tabs so that it will look sorta normal.

Zepher last time I was at autozone they had some mesh stuff for use on import frontends but they had normal black and aluminium color. I don't remember how much but you may want to look at it.

Or You can try to find a 82-84 T/A hood scoop screen and cut it to fit..

that hood fits much better than mine. Also - mine didn't come with inserts at all! It came with a wire metal mesh installed into the hood...like into the fiberglass or something.

Wish I had inserts

I need to get with the Police anc see what's up with the case since I really want to get the doors replaced along with the tail light.

I was thinking about the screen mesh that a lot of import people use, which I may attempt to use.

I got that Ram Air one hood a few months ago from LT1 _Guy, I did a straight swap with my RAII hood with him.
I am getting another RAII hood from my friend with the Black LT1 powered 82 T/A since he doesn't want it anymore. I'll be trading my bulge hood for it.

We only did a quick alignment of the hood to get it to sit the way it does. I drove to Hawks Thirdgen in South Carolina, met Bruce, Redraif, and LT1_Guy, took my RAII hood off, put the RAI hood on and that's how it's been since.

Post a pic of the wire mesh in your hood, I want to see how it looks.

So Zepher do you have two cars. Is this your daily driver while the LT1 swap gets complete?

Neighbors are pretty cool since they keep to themselves.

Joy moved back to Martinsville.
