Powder coat the rims
So.. I told myself that if I ever scuffed my rims or jacked them up in some way, I would get another set and powder coat them black. well such an opprotunity has arisen and I need to know where to go for a professional powder coat (or paint, whichever is going to look better and be less resistant to scratches. Does anyone know of a place I can send the wheels to have them professionally powder coated ?
Also, will someone photoshop my wheels black ?

Black would look great, I want that too. BTW, he's got this color that shines red or green when the light hits it right but looks black the rest of the time...Dunno if it would look good in huge amounts like a rim but its got possiblities.

i tihnk it would look very nice if the spokes were powdercoated and the rest was left silver. or if you can polish the lip and stuff up it would look great. if i had photoshop still i would definantly help you out with a pic, ill see what i can do.

I don't know if this is in your price range, but I think those black Z06 wheels with the polished lip would look killer on your car

most powdercoating shops will do it...aren't there any in your area? i'm personally against black wheels as they look like spares but if i were in love with that style i would go different and do a black transparent coat. much like an anodized look but powdercoated and more durable.

As long as you have boxes that can protect the rims, you can ship them for about $20-$25 per bare wheel UPS ground shipping. Then shipping back of course.

I'm sure you know someone with a business that has daily UPS pickup. You might try shiping them from there.

Anyone else care to try photoshoping the wheels ? Im surprised this hasn't been done on the boards already. TPI383, have you done wheels in the past, and if so, do you have any pics of he the wheels might come out in black chrome, or even gun metal grey?
