Opinions needed on my hood scoop
Well I was wondering what you guys think of my new hood scoop. I know it still needs to be painted, but after that it should be pretty cool looking.

Well maybe not necessary, but eventually it will be. I already had to cut a hole in the hood to clear the air cleaner and not too far down the road I'll be getting probably a 142 or 174 supercharger.

I think the scoop looks duller than the rest of the car. Like a flat black while the paint is glossy so they kinda clash. I think if the colors were closer it would be pretty cool.

Do you plan on molding it into the rest of the hood?
If not, I don't like it. I don't like when people cut holes in their hood to clear some K&N air filter or something similar. Now, if you need to cut a hole to stick a blower in there, then cut away
If it was molded into the rest of the hood, it wouldn't be so bad, but I still don't care for it too much.
Just my opinion though.

in my opinion i would have used that scoop money towards a cowl hood. i wouldn't do the whole cut a hole into your hood ******* thing. that's why i went 4inch cowl, no problems anymore with clearance and it looks much better to boot.

When I first saw that I thought that look like something ou would see on a primered up old duster or something. Now I know that it is! The rest of your car looks beautiful, nice work. Try harder on the hood you'll come up with something better.
