just chromed my tail light innards.

I just got done repainting my reflective surface on my taillights chrome, they shine alot better than what they did. I just cleaned it off really well and went for it, I don't have any pics of it in the dark though, cause unfortunately my camaro is under construction. The tail light on the bottom is the one before.

The gridstyle already has the a cheapo chrome/paint covering. They're a tad brighter but not a whole lot.

...interested to see how your's turn out!

yah the old ones I couldn't see the reflection of myself in but after I painted it I could. my auto body instructor told me he did that with is stang tail lights and said that the factory ones looked like they were burnt out, which is how much brighter the new ones were. I can't dip plastic otherwise I would (possibly be too bright). There is something though, a spray on chrome finish, just as expensive as kameleon paint. check out this web site. check out their product showcase.http://www.alsacorp.com/ChromeFX.html

interesting idea, i'd like to see how it looks. to bad you couldn't do one side and put them back together for comparison.

i like the site you linked as well, has some interesting takes on mirror like finish paints.

i particularly like how they used it here. if it has that much of a flex agent to put on material imagine what chrome leather seats would look like.

bling....bling....

you would have to give your windshield a dark tint or else the reflection from the sun would be unbearable
