the magnesium cannot be polished perfectly... they have little black pittings... not that bad... but i am a perfectionist...

i also decided to paint my runners the same silver... and i thought silver valve covers would suit the runners...

i sold the valve covers for $200 US so it all worked out :P

Has anyone tried the adapters from centerbolt to perimeter ? I wish they made cooler centerbolt valve covers.

I chose them since they were cheap, $60 from a friend. But, they aren't on my car anymore, traded them with my brother for an Autometer Ultra-Lite Electric Fuel Pressure gauge, brand new in the box.

They look like the ones you can get from flamingengraving.com. That is where I'm getting mine when it's time for them.

Here's mine, I like the "old school" look for the center bolt heads.

Valve covers are pretty easy to change. Only problem is that sometimes there is alot of hoses and wiring above them, so they make it a pain to take the valve covers off.

Mine are just unscripted steel ones with chrome. Nothing special, but they look good.

The flamed valve covers on fb305svs 's car are on Ebay all the time... there must be 10 sets on there at any given time.

from what i understand they have a tendancy to leak, and i think i heard the engine guy say that he's had them interfere with something else.... don't rmember what tho..

did u supercharge your lawnmower yet?

Actually im working on marketing my twin turbo kit for most domestic lawn mowers. As soon as it hits the shelves ill let you guys know.

It works pretty well, but you really have to beef up the suspension to take it. My lawn mower is running 14lbs of boost and when i hit the nitrious it gets a bit wobbly at 120mph. I found that putting a K&N sticker on the hood helps it to get a little better traction but you still gotta watch it once you break into the 11's.

At least now i can cut my grass in about 30 seconds

I still think the most beautiful valve covers every made are the '68-74 Camaro Z/28 valve covers.. the cast finned ones with the corvette cross-flags logo on it...

I'd have them if they didnt cost $250 a pair.

I picked these up at a local swap meet really cheap and cleaned them up. They're a little dirty in this pic though.
