i origionally was gonna change the car to black.. but just dont wanna mess with all the hassle right now.. so im gonna refresh this color.. but any opinions on a way to spice it up? i just want a bit of a change of pace. i have the iroc louver hood, z28 icons all around, and the t tops are black. so any suggestions are welcome. grey interior is really clean.. maybe grey ground effects? feel free to photoshop, thanks guys

damn that looks good! maybe get some z-28 style hood blisters. i think that would definetly make your car flow better. i would also polish the rims, get some clear side markers and clean up the front parking lights. car looks good though

Well you have a great looking car to start with. A little lowering and set of bigger wheels goes a long way. You will be amazed on how different it makes your car look. You wouldn't think my car was a generic slow RS would you. Wheels lie

yeah i hear you on that.. but i really like the stock ones.. the paint needs some rejuvenation.. you cant see in the pictures.. but a couple dings that need to come out, and a the normal scratches around the tops of the quarterpanels, etc. and thats really all i have to $$ to change right now.. but ive considered wheels.. that might be next.. the motor needs nothing for now.. its a champ. keep the feedback comin you guys rock

black would go great also i am a sucker to candy apple red with black accents.

that is on sweet colour, i'd stick with it

Ya from what I can see your car looks awesome! Fix the little dings here and there if you must. Id say keep the paint color I for one like it. I also must agree I like your rims beter. Im not one for skinny star rims.

I **** canned my stock 91 16" rims because too many people had them and the car looked boring, so I know what you're sayin. Plus I went with the 10 spokes to show off the giant LS1 rear brakes

that is a nice color! id say an SS hood, lower it, polish the stock wheels and itll look GREAT. the 91-92 cars are beautiful...

what style front lights would you recomend? i have foglights in the z28 grill that are wired to a switch under the dash... black headlight pockets? or would that look bad with the green?

i mean the parking lights, new ones will brighten it up since they will be very clear. I dont think black pockets would look very good.

i think black headlight pockets would look cool. I think what he means by new front lights are the parking lights........they tend to dull easy and new ones would look killer. You could also shave the antenna, which would look killer, I shave mine and I think it looks real good. Like stated above, hood blisters would look real nice. I say leave the gxf the same color.

yeah i was thinkin about tint.. i dont know what percentage is legal in missouri.. but im sure the guys at the tint shop would know... i appreciate all the feedback fellas

subtle ghost flames would look cool, and add a 91-2 Z28 high rise spoiler (i love that spoiler next to the stock Formula GTA one)

I'd say get a set of the Z28 Power Blisters, the Z28 Bowtie Grill with Foglights, lower it a bit, and a set of 17's

Looks great as is! I don't really dig the black headlight pocket deal, but to each their own. I would do a stock fog lamp setup with the grille.

mmm... how about since you wanted to have some silver on the bottom of the car... put a stripe set just above the GFX.... small black stripe and a small silver stripe. Might look good ... and I wonder how the car would look if you got the ttops and bars on the middle/sides painted the same color as the car? I dunno... random thoughts. Stripes would be cheap *shrug*

yeah, i already have the grey/black stripe.. i think im gonna go with it again once its repainted.. and the fog light setup is the stock z28.. but this car started out as an RS so i had to wire the foglights to a new switch under the dash.. it looks good though.. i appreciate you guys's advice.. i think im gonna stick with it basically the same.. i think the redone paint will take it up a whole buncha notches.. ill be happy with it.. by the way.. anybody know where i could go (ST. LOUIS/ ST. CHARLES AREA) if i was to buy the paint.. and get the rest done relatively cheap? if anybody does.. let me know

argg paint it a different shade of green, theres a billion teal cars running around.. and take off the gfx stripes while ur painting... bigger wheels and hood blisters and youd be mackin

The "Blisters" would be what is on the hoods of the 91-92 Z vs. the louvered hood on previous years. Correct me if I'm wrong...I own a bird.

so the general consensus is to get rid of my louver'd hood? man that thing looks sweet.. well hey guys, i think ive decided on a darker.. little more mettallic green.. a dupont two stage paint.. ill post pics when that step is done.. thanks for the advce

In place of louvers if u buy them new tho they are more then twice as much. I think they are around 178 a blister.

Same reason i went with louvers i didnt have the cash at the time.

Keep the color, and definatly keep it all the same color. Also, I love the 91-92 16" wheels. Just throw some lowering spring on it. I just threw Sportlines on my white 92, and it COMPLETLY changed the attitude of the car. Makes it look much smoother now (along with the rediculous performance of the koni yellow's I put on at the same time).

man im just so scared to lower it.. i feel like im about to scrape half the time, and that plastic air dam does scrape half the time.. what do you run into with that..? just half to go really slow alot?

I prefer louvers. Don't get me wrong, I know neither are functional, but what are the blisters supposed to be? The look almost toooo decorative. Don't get me wrong....they're still cool, but I vote for louvers.

I also like the black and silver pinstripe. What about a green and black pinstripe? I say about a one inch black with an 1/8th inch bright green. It's subtle, and different.

twin racing stripes are aways cool too.

You'd have to order the stripes individually. I doubt you'd find a pre-made kit.

Keep the louvers; I dont care for the Z28 blisters. Also, paint the pockets black and lower it!
