I painted my calipers red and drums black. I used High Temp engine paint and it turned out pretty good. The red gets really dusty from the brake dust so I have to keep cleaning them and repainting them.
Whatever you do don't paint the drums a color. It just looks wrong and in my opinion looks horriable.

I used a metallic silver wheel paint. It would have been best to remove the caliper but I just masked the heck out of everything. They've kept their finish VERY well and look aluminum. I painted all four and they look excellent. Hopefully the front will be seeing some upgrades though
Painting drums semi-gloss black is about all that's tollerable, if I see one more set of red or yellow drums I'll snap.

When I painted my calipers, I also painted the hubs of the rotors the same metallic color so they matched the calipers. I hate rust and like everything to look nice and clean.
I used some POR 15 high temp paint. I dont think you need high temp paint and probably wouldnt use it again because most of it doesnt fully cure until it reaches like 350 degrees F and if you wipe you finger on the caliper hard enough the paint comes off a bit.

i painted my drums but haven't got around to the front.
This is what i did
1) I picked up some grease lighting degreaser, a wire brush and some high temp engine paint all from autozone.
2) I took of my wheels one at a time and sprayed degreaser on it and let in sit for 5mins.
3) I then took the wire brush and scraped any loose dirt or rust.
4) After I did all that I rinsed them of and took a hairdryer to them.
5) Finally I sprayed the paint from about 6 inchs away paying attention to what I hit. (It's not to important if u miss a little bit the wheels cover alot).
Let us now how thet turn out post pics if you can.

man im in the process of painting my wheel wells and polishing my chrome again (TONS of over spray almost ruined my rims) and i just hit the calipers up with some red cheap spray paint. didnt mask anything but didnt get any paint on my rotor and cleaned my rotor off excessivly with brake cleaner afterwards. just needed somethin to break it up back there. looks good still tho, ill get some pics hopefully soon.

I really want to paint my calipers Prowler Orange. I have some paint, but it really won't work. I wonder if there is a primer or overcoat I could put on the paint to stop it from burning off.
