pics of my 4th gen emblems
I was looking at the SS emblem thread, and i thought maybe this would be a good topic.
I did 4th gen emblems on my car, although they are the correct wording. My car is an iroc, but 85-87, the iroc's did say Z28 on the door scripts, so that's what i went with.

i was surprised to find that they are the same size. And i cut up some pieces of plastic, spray painted them red, and glued the Z28 onto that, and glued the whole thing into the hole for it in the ground effects. I was considering just filling the hole first with filler, but there are two gfx bolts under there in case i ever need to get in there again, so i didn't, at least for now.

Not my personal taste but chalk another one up for 3rd/4th swappable parts.
I personally love the look of new, clean 3rdgen Z28 emblems. Preferrably in SILVER

I like the way they lookI have always thought about filling in the spot on our gfx where the emblems go and placing 4th gen emblems on my car where they would be on a 4th gen... like so...

edit looking at that pic were u moved the emblems up that would look good too but then it makes the bottom look to plain...either way honestly would still look good

Yeah, they look great! I did mine about three years ago when my pass side Z28 seperated and became destroyed. Instead of making another plastic piece, I used the back half of the factory pieces and ground down the outer edge before I glued it all together.
