Photoshop?

Not sure if this is the right place to post or not, if its not, im sorry. Ive seen alot of people do work in photoshop with their cars, like seeing what it looks like with this hood, those rims, etc etc. My question is, what version of photoshop is good to use? and where can I get it? Thanks.

I use Photoshop CS (AKA Photoshop 8). I have heard rumors of people downloading it from p2p networks like edonkey. Photoshop is NOT CHEAP lol.

Ummm....Not to be picky about this. BUT Adobe is pretty hard on piracy, hell you can't even use the term "photochopped". They have a whole section devoted to copyright infringment, and piracy. Not only that, you are not supposed to talk about pirated software here. So if you got it free, thats great. But don't mention it on the boards.

I use photoshop 7, my dad got a copy through work, but never uses it so he gave it to me. I have Paint Shop Pro 7.0 which is good too.

As far as GIMP goes, most people who have used it like it. And you can't beat the price.

There is a Photoshop board....FYI

...I use PS7. I had PS5, and it's awesome too, but 7 is certainly better. However, you can "find" 5 pretty easy, and you don't have to be so concerned with how you "found" it.

Fruity's right....Adobe is VERY strict on infringements, and it's best not to discuss any pirating here.

I would move this to the PS board, but it seems as you've found your answer and there is no need to discuss piracy here, so I'm going to close it instead.

Any questions or comments, PM me. Thanks.
