finally on the street
finally got to take the new motor out for a spin. need to do something about this ss hood though as even at idle the damn thing looks as if it's going to shake off from the cam...sure was good to take a drive after months. heres some slightly new pics of the new wheels, hood and paint. she goes back in next week for more work....not that it matters since it won't stop raining.

i'm keeping somewhat a solid color...you can already see some of the candy fade on it in the side pic. most of the custom paint will be ghost like as i want it to look solid from afar. i really like the two tone jobs however the more i played with it the more the car looked odd from a distance. i want it to stand out from a distance and up close really stand out....i couldn't do that with the two tone the exact way i wanted.
we'll see though, it should turn out nicely.

looks great... you should loose the "tuned port injection" thing, bage on the rear bumper. it cleans in up back their w/o it.
here is a pic of my bumper w/o the bage... (no more mud-flaps

. i think you may be a tad upsesed with your paint.i see noting wrong with it.
its darker in the front then in the back....just look.
as far as the back emblems....i'm either shaving them completely off or leaving it as i think it looks odd with just one emblem on either side. plus if you look closely at the tpi it isn't the 5.7 anymore.....custom, yet subtle touches like that all over the car keep it different from the rest which i like.

a few more things which should be finished by summer.....i love my 91 but i would never build another thirdgen as they are way to expensive to build up. i could have built two mustangs just as nice as my own.

i'll be waiting.......need to either reverse mount the hood or install pins though as the damn thing shakes so much from the motor i'm affriad it's going to mess up the paint.
