That is FRICKEN cool! I would use it for highway cruising and such, not for around town but that is cool.
Although it looks like its for 85-90 front ends with GFX. Doesn't look like its made for the 91-92 models.

i was going to buy it and not tell anybody about it
but then i realized some interesting things
like the fact that it appears that it is made for cars with a front license plate?
i also can't understand how that could attach to your car....

I have seen them before, but not for a 3rd gen. Actually, mostly for Mercedes, BMWs, Audis etc.... Good to know someone aftermarket actually thought enough about our cars at one time to make these for ours.

i would be worried about it scratching my paint if it didnt sit very snugly, also i think i would just be too lazy to take it off and put it on.

These covers came out years ago, it actually attaches to the car via the license plate bracket and there are little stand offs all around it that keep it from touching the paint, however the standoffs rub on the paint as you are driving and eventually scratch and or rub off the paint in those spots.

i'd rather have a clear *soft* plastic bra if i ever went with a bra...seems like it soft plastic would be less noticable than that hard plastic one, much easier to store, wouldn't crack if the nose scraped, cheaper, etc.

It will likely trap heat and moisture between it and your car's body. Both of which are not condusive to maintaining a shiny paint surface.
For a road trip - yes.
For a permanent install - no.
Paint it on the inside and display it in your home - COOL!

woooT!
i stopped by the house to look at it during my lunch break.
i just pulled it out of the box and snapped pics. so ignore the dust and smudge marks.. i dont know how the heck it got so dusty, but its all there atleast.
its neat... when i get home, i'll see if there are any markings on it. might tell the brand or somthing.
it weighs less then 8lbs... its thick, but light.

i think the only time im going to use it is on long road trips, but if everything goes as planned, the car will be freshly painted before i go on the 3rdgen.org vegas meet..... so i'll want this on there.

im going to get some lights, and clear(with silver wire) lamp cord and put the power supply on the ground behind the couch.
with the headlights aimed a lil upward, the light should reflect off the ceiling and white walls and light up the room.
this is my next project for the same room btw...
im trying to do somthing similar, but with a LS1 block..... or really, any alum block i can get my hands on.
i have a SBC i could do it with, but a iron table is too heavy
