Wow those wheels look ugly. A little to much fun with the spray paint I see. The wheels need some aluminum to break them up, at the very least a pollished lip and probably some part of the spokes pollished.

I hope you didn't pay too much for that tint because at some point in time one of the cops is going to give you a blade and make you scrape it off.

tinting the side windows is also illegal but many vehicles have it. From the inside, viewing through the windshield really isnt that much different.

no problems so far with the cops and this is my second vehicle with a tinted windshield.

Shooting someone walking down the street is illegal too and a lot of people still do it... that doesn't mean that it's a smart thing to do.

Cops will generally cut you some slack with the side windows, you know that. But they are obviously not going to overlook a tinted windshield.

You also do not do stuff like that out of respect for the police. They have that law because they need to be able to tell if you're grabbing for a gun or something inside the car...

Hmmm> doesn't seem to sound right..

Anyways, to each his own i guess.
I'd polish those wheels, and get rid of the front windsheild tint. I know the fix-it violation in Ohio is like $95 or something.. Those wheels just remind me of all the CRX's around here..

Good photos. Did you do the tint yourself? I thought most shops wouldn't tint it that black

i still dont believe thats not really dangerous. At night time i can barely see out of my back window if there isnt a light behind me and even then only vaguely. What the hell would you do if you ended up on a road at night where there was just a long stretch with no lights, im not even in the country im in the suburbs and those stretches arent hard to find.

People with a legitimate vision problem.
I have light sensitive eyes and have 5% all around but, none on the front (excluding the 6" visor).. that's what sunglasses are for.

I'm going to have to join the 'looks like -ss' crowd on this one.

theres a guy at the local college here he has a bmw 5 series i think but he has mirrored tint all the way round and on the windsheild im surprised hes still alive with it like that cause the cops around here wouldnt pput up with that and they tend to be after the money but still it looks cool ofr a strictly show car but for street not at all. i think that 20 isto dark for street cause i night its hard for me to see but it looks sweet my mom has 15% or her audi and its looks good but its a killer at night

wholy crap... why don't you kick him in the junk while you're at it.

i think it's neat. i wouldn't do it, but i certainly don't feel like hes disgracing my car by blacking it out.

the only thing i really dislike is the dent(s).. and that camera makes your paint look nasty.

+1

Its his car, he can do what he wants with it.

I'd like to have a very small amount of tint on my windshield if it was legal, nothing as drastic as his though.

Currently I have the back with 20% and side windows at the maximum legal, even with that some of the taller trucks still blind the living crap out of me.

Boom, don't listen to the negative posts, its your car man, enjoy it.

ohhh, and strip those rims down and use powdercoat, it would look tons better

the main reason the windshield is tinted is for anti-theft, im going to have a sub wall put in that would ordinarily be very visible from outside the car. An alarm isnt good enough so im thinkin if they cant see it they wont want my equipment as much. Although i am aware that if a good thief wants my stuff he'll get it no matter what.

i think this car will soon be retired for caraudio competitions anyway...probably only be no the road full-time for another 3 or 4 months i would think

as far as the wheels go, i can see why many people dislike them. Some days i like the way they blend with the car, others i want to strip the paint on them. My goal with every car ive ever had was for it to be unique and ive never seen a thirdgen like mine before. And with being unique comes peoples opinions of it.

steve the car has some little dents here and there but not nearly as bad as in the pic. It kinda bothers me how they turned out.

thats pretty nice, but 5% on the back and sides is damn dark , how the hell you gonna see at night with those. I dont drive my car at night more than 5 times a year so it would be a problem for me , but how do you see outta it. And where do you put your regristration and inspection sticker.

the headlights look out of place.. i think you need blackouts while you are at it

As far as an eye catcher: it's not.
Have you ever ran into your car looking for it in a parking lot at night?

I'm from abby and havne't seen that car.... looks like it would be quite noticable. tinting the windshield just seems to..... 80's. its like your car is gothic or something...? I had 5% on the back and 35% on the sides and that was damn dark, the side ones coudl have been 50% at night and would have been more visuall safe, I coudl never imagine that on the windshield, I didn't even need to use my rear view dimmer with my tinted backwindow, what percent do you have on the front?

To each his own, but that looks rough, man. It seems you may have something besides stereo equip. your hiding in there. Everybody trys to hide their "tunes" one way or another in their cars. Most people don't realize that , when you're "bumping" a 1000w through town with all your friends, you might as well have it on top of the car. Thieves can hear as well see.

i agree the headlights do look a bit out of place...i have blackout headlight covers but i bought the ones made by auto ventshade that are manufactured very poorly and dont fit the car very well at all. So im going to have to trim them.

WTF is wrong with you people? How can you sit there, hiding behind your computer screen and say that to someone? Would you ever even consider saying that to someones face? Imagine yourself at a meet and walking up to somenoe and saying. "Your car looks like white trash peice of crap". Is it just because your sitting behind your comp you feel like a big guy? Around here saying that to someone is gonna get you hit. Someone obviously put lots of time and money and effort into there car, and you come along making comments like that? Remember, its his car, he can make it however he wants it. I for one dont really like the wheels, to black for me, but i know some people do like them. I do like the front windsheild tinted too. And having opinions is fine, but i just cant stand when people find the need to go around mouthing off about other peoples cars. Just grow the **** up.

i like the part about "someone obviously put lots of time and money and effort into their car" uhh what is it about the fact that he obviously got a little too happy with a can of black spray paint that makes you think thats a lot of money is in that car. The thing looks like a beater to me. And would i stand face to face with a flaming **** burner and tell him his cars a joke....yes. So i have no problem saying that i think his car looks like crap...because it does.

Umm....I agree Abubaca, this thread has disintegrated into a mired bog of waste.

Anyway, I like the ride Boomin Boy. I completely dig the all black scheme - even the wheels (though I concede they'd look better glossy). Nice work man!

hey man at least you dont have to paint in the tiny cracks when you polish the rims up and make them look nice... i must say your car would look sweet as hell if you polished those rims up and fixed some of the imperfections in the body
