Does anyone have a metallic colour paint job?? also does anyone know a site i can check out that has examples so i can just print it up and bring it to the shop and tell them i want this colour. if u got metallic paint on your thidgen please post a pic? or if u got a pic on your PC of a really nice metallic colour please post. thanks!

You can't really print a metallic color accurately, unless you have one hell of a printer. You really need to see these colors in person to truly appreciate them.

Find a couple shops and ask if they have any swatches of metallic colors they can do for you. You'll get a much better idea of a color you'd like that way.

 

i know what colour i want, does anyone have a thirdgen camaro this colour? im think some flakes would look even better.

thanks i checked out his paint but i want a little bit more to it, like more metallic and flake, i will check out my shop tomorrow. and his is like a orange colour, lookin for a more rose or cranberry red

 

Ya mine actually does have ALOT of metal flake in it, the pics dont do it justice.. Or maybe its just the light i dont know, however if u get up close there millions of sparkels everywhere.. I'm a BIG fan of metallic and candy paint jobs, just like Kandied91Z's car, perfect example, those colors always stand out the best.. What color are u actually looking for??

That's awful close to the classic candy apple red metallic.

 

i wouldn't be able to get you a photo close to it but a candy red would be your best bet to match the phone.

a metallic color is just that....the depth of that color your looking at really needs a translucent over the metallic color. many shades and bases can be used for such. you will never get a picture of my car that shows it's color but if that's what your looking for candy is the answer. here are a few that give you an idea.

look to the nitrous bottle for a real depth shade...again pictures can't capture it.
