the paint looks nice. the int. needs some work though. you recovered your door panels but didn't stitch the 2 pieces of viinyl together all to great. fur of course isn't anyones but yours style so i'll leave that alone. new rims and lower it and fix up the int. and it will look amazing. looks real nice though so far good work.

You are not a Steven King fan.

Christine was a car that was possessed by evil in one of his books. It was also made into a movie. The car was a 58 Plymouth Fury, but that doesn't matter, it could have been any make or model.

Sort of ruined using the name Christine for a car IMO.

Its not a GTA, they didn't make a GTA until 87. I don't need to point out all the other reasons its not a GTA.

You know, what is it with young carcrafters, and the import scene is huge on this, where looks come before any kind of performance modding. The old school thought was make it run like a striped azz ape first, then worry about aesthetics later.

Do you mean 87 not 97, because there certainly were no GTAs in 97....and he was suggesting that GTA rims would look nice on his car...he didn't say that his car was a GTA. I think they would look nice too. There are some people that are young that want their car running fast before the other mods just like before. However I think what shane is doing is what he can afford, some yards of cloth and some time aren't too expensive and if it improves his car then more power to him. Albeit his tastes sometimes rub people the wrong way, but that is something else. One might say that the money spent on aesthetics could be used for performance mods, but I'm sure everyone can spare an extra $20 to re-upholster their headliner or something. Its not like he is spending hundreds on his interior.

Hey SC82TA , Ok I see what he was saying about the rims guess I read it to fast, and yes I was ten years off, typo

My other comments were fairly general, but I guarantee that shane has a few bucks into everything he has done. Hell I'm glad that someones cleaning up one more third gen. His next post however solidifies what I am was refering to. He already has seat covers that look decent enough but he wants to fork out a few bills on different ones before adding even the slightest performance upgrade. Not knocking somebody's preference for looks over performance just a curiousity. Personally I like both but have done a little in performance then a little into suspension then a little into aesthetics. Slowly building my car as well.

Neoprene is next from what I saw.

I can hear the local news now...

"In other news tonight, a local kid in a never ending quest to make his car different from all others tries yet another interior material. His choice this time? Camel scrotumn. Unfourtunatly, in his drive to do this on a budget, he attempted to pirate the said material from the neighbor's camel, local witnesses say this was probably where it went all wrong."

well now hold up, i getting seat cover fro the rear seats, my fornt ones are cool but the back needs them very badly, look belows.

And yeah the door panels wil be recovered, but neoprene is sooo dman ****ty as expensive i cant door the door panels in it yet, but damn you got me thinking now i might actually do that, but its $25 a foot man.

thew paint, its far from stock, only 2 of us thirdgeners have that color, me and flyinlow89. I gotta give him credit i got the color from him. But its 1998 Chrysler Platinum.

ok, an xbox is a regular ibm compatible system. microsoft just has very mnay security devices built into it ti stoo us from installing linux and windows. Well they flash the bios and all is well. Then you instlal it and you have a nice pentium 3 computer that you bought for $150.

LoL. You might want to dig into that just a -little- further. The xbox is NOT anything close to a "regular" pc. All hardware contained within are of custom design and are not interchangable with standard PC componentry. Folks have done other things with the xbox, but it is counter productive with the price of basic older style pc parts.

Also, the xbox CPU is a modified mobile celeron 733, NOT a p3.

What's your point? Nothing there proved anything I said to be wrong, rather, it highlighted your inaccuracies.

I think that's how it went.

Anyways, lay off the guy for wanting to do something to HIS car. If it makes him happy that is all that matters.

On another note,i prefer to call me car, Bitch, because that's what it is, everytime i fix something, something else breaks. I think the next time i drive it the doors are going to fall off.

meant no offense.

couldn't pass up the joke.

i couldn't care less about what you cover your rests in.

i'd think it silly if the fur was actually purple, like it looks in the pictures, but you assure us it's not.. so im sure its not so bad.

LoL i read that thread.
I said the thing about my car because i had just fixed the accelerator cable(the clamp came off), so to drive it around and make sure it was ok, I decided to roll down the windows. Well don't ya know, the damn passanger side motor is flaking out. I've already changed the drivers side(not fun)

the tires are cooper zeon 2xs. Very nice tires IMHO. Very quiet until i floor it but even most times they dont squeel when they slip.

I got pulled over the toehr day the cop said he heard my tires queel so he thought i was going fast, good thing my mom knew him, and remmebered my pic on her station at her work(she cuts hair right across from the police station).

I got $43 left from this pay check($210) so i got money to burn. Dunno what i'll get but a new t-top bag is on my mind, wonder if that guy still has it.

Soon i'd like to be able to install a 10" woofer so i need that well space for it.

Not to worry performance mods wills oon come, my mom insists i not get in an accident for 1 year before i do anything to make it faster, i year will be in july. yeah i'm waiting. So...

you all have to check out the list. Grand Total : $6,778.84! Calm it down a little Kid, I hope that's more of a wishlist than a list of what you expect to have done within the next 3 years. Also, if you expect to change rim sizes with the ROH Snyper rims, don't forget the cost of new tires. Then there's the shipping cost on all of those items...

one more thing.. i checked out TA Creations for the center console you have listed at $50. Their website states $100 for auto console and $125 for manual. Damn the false hope you gave me! lol. it's still cheaper than most e-bay auctions go for
