Can you tell me how you wax your car with Meguiars? Whenever I wax, it takes forever for me to finish the entire car.

cleaner wax is somewhat abrasive (hence the "cleaning" part) and works great if your finish is a little bit tired, or if you have some very minor scratches. It's especially nice if you have the swirl marks from the last 10,000 times you washed the car. After you get it looking great with the cleaner wax, use a non-abrasive polish to keep it looking that way. You don't want to keep using the cleaner wax because you're actually removing a little bit of paint every time you use it.

Once you get it looking good with the cleaner wax, something like Zaino, or a Mothers or Maguire's polish (not a wax, and not a "cleaner wax") will protect it and keep it looking that good without taking off any more paint.

Yup, I was going to say what Jimbo did. The cleaner wax I use after the car sits for a while, but don't over use it.

Does the cleaner wax actually get rid or help remove the swirl marks and not ruin the clear coat? Also are you using a buffer or doing it the old fashion way that I prefer? Have some small scratches and lots of those nasty swirl marks in my 3 year old paint job. Thanks for a reply.
