that GTA doesn't sound like a "9 on a scale of 10" to me.... unkown mileage??? No engine documentation??? Gauges replaced??? looks like the front is a little bit different color, too... I dunno... I think $2500 is about all I'd pay for it- if that.

So do you get both hoods if you get the black one (I didn't read the description) but there are two different hoods on it... just an observation

You gotta watch out for this! I had to set the guy straight who sold me my t-top car, he swore up and down that the car had a 5.7, that the guy who sold it to him told him it was a 5.7, and that when he bought parts for the engine, he bought 5.7 parts. (plugs, filters, etc) Only after I printed out a VIN breakdown sheet and showed him that it was an F-code car and not an 8-code car, did he start to believe me. Not everybody is purposely trying to decieve you.... they may actually believe that they have the 5.7. Just something you need to be very, very careful about!

oh, I don't like the black bird either... I hate the ground effects, the hood does not belong on a firebird, and whatever he did to the front is... wierd. I like the wheels and the A$$ end but that's about it.

When you hear some owner selling the car say "5.7" or "350", the english translation for such is known as "BS". I can't tell you how many times I hear this. Typically they are either full of chit, or don't know chit about the car. Either way, be -very- careful. Only after you decode the casting and head numbers would I buy a car as a 5.7, without verifying assume 305.

yeah when I got my car the people told me they swapped in a 350.... but when we were changing the starter a couple of weeks ago my dad saw the stamp at the back of the block or something and confirmed it was a 350 for sure so that's good. But too bad it's a stocker 350, and as you know a stock 350 ain't super special, I mean if I was going to drop in a new motor I'd at least go for the cams and/or heads... but hey
