Rs is going under the knife say goodbye
Tomorrow if i can track down some of the parts i need the rs will officially be done in its stock body. The list is fairly long so all i will post are the pics of the drawign i made up last night of how i want it. However durign its surgery i have decided i am not going to post any full car pics of the change, i think it will be cooler seeing it go from stock to different with no in the middle area. You can pretty much see the body mods in the pics,(sorry no scanner so i took pics of my drawing). THe paint i am so far thinking will be the stock teal only with a slight more amount of flake for more of a candied look. I am still throwing around ideas of some sort of teal, silver scheme or teal with ghost flames, or teal with ghost stripes. For now though it will probaly be just plain tela until i can afford a reall good paint job and can garage the car as it still does sit outside and get driven in rain. My mind has been made up on the body but any opinions on paint are welcome i do want to keep the teal though but maybe add something. Say goodbye to her.

No comments on the 3rd grade art skills. I had to trace another pic of it. I'm really going for the low slung gangsta look. Unless my money tree starts blooming the air ride and y2k vette rims are gonna have to wait a little so body first.
ahh young car builder....the body is truly the last thing you do as otherwise you'll ruin it in the process of other modifications.
beyond the shaved marker, 2ndgen vents, 5" spoiler and 91-92 gfx it looks like many on here....
becareful with the flake, go to big and you'll look like a bass boat or an underused carnival ride. candy is more depth and illusion where as flake is more metallic and shimmer. throw a pearl in the clear to get a slight color change under different hues.
good luck with it, should be nice.

I keep thinking about the body last but the proble is my paints cracking and has surface rusted in spots on the roof. I was planning on having a cheapy paint job put on this summer but i might as well just get it done now atleast the mods then maybe change the paint in the future. THe problem is i have the money for the body stuff i want done but am no where near having the money to start my motor build up. I'd rather wait on the motor that way i can get the best stuff i want and build it right the first time. I am talking to a couple painters right now becasue i dont want it looking like a bass boat or soem wierd low rider thing gone bad. So i found a couple guys that are spraying some demo pieces for me to see what i like the best.
So whens that air ride gonna be done me wants

that is the best thing you can do, we all start somewhere. mine started as a repaint after someone broke into it and went from there.
as far as the airride......it's coming. the setup should be available to purchase by august.
