$70 purchase.

100 canadian actually. i now have 3 thirdgens, so it may be time to change my username, lol.

anyway the car is an 86 firebird, with an older style front bumper. it has Z28 wheels and a good interior. it has a 403 rocket for a motor, with true dual(side exit) exhaust. i bought it for a parts car for my 85 camaro( https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=237801 ). i think the Z28 wheels will look good on my camaro once i polish them, plus i have a nice set of low profile tires to fit them.

i think $70 USD was a great price for this considering its not overly rusty...its only a parts car for me anyway, and there are loads of good parts on it. i also need it windshield for my camaro, it will fit right? i am also putting the duals on the camaro too.

Holy Crap! That's a GREAT deal! You could make a serious profit by just reselling it or parting it out. Nice find.

are you positive that it has a rocket motor? All olds engines have a magnificant way of becoming "rockets" when the get put up for sale. Kinda the same way every 350 becomes a "350 from a vette".

why is that car gonna be a parts car, it looks clean enough to resell and make enough of a profit to fund some more goody's for the project car

is there something wrong with it

yeah i'll get some for ya.

and the car is a better parts car because it is rusty underneath, ie weak. the only things the camaro "needs" from it is the windsheild and the shifter, everything else is just wants, such as duals, seats, wheels etc.

Every time I look at an f-body at a dealership I get the "it's got a Corvette engine" speech.

That's an awesome deal for 70 bux!!! Sweet!

funny, I bought my 86 iroc with what I was told was a "350 from a vette" before I was educated in thirdgen specifics. Now I know I bought an iroc with the original lb9 305...... Atleast I'm going to be replacing it soon with a "350 from a truck"
