clean & cool Trans Am

I found this car I really like for sale and thought it looked pretty clean for having 80,000 miles...

Its a nice looking car, looks like one down the road from me. The guy wont fix it or sell it, so its just gonna rot apart eventually.

??????????

Isnt that car supposed to have recaro or trans am or something in the gray inserts on that car? Seems like the car I competed against at th Pontiac Southern Nationals 03 had lettering repeated in the material on the gray inserts. In those photos they just look gray. or then again, I could be wrong too, LOL

GM Vehicles even with carbs had computer control, which also controlled timing and other items, as early as 1981.

Buy that car, that car is a 15th anniversary trans am and they are very rare. Most 15ths are now sitting in junk yards finding one in such good condition is a great find. they only made 1500 of them. If I were you id grab that car and hold onto it and keep and return it to stock condition. that car is gonna be worth so much money in a few short years

The demand for that car isn't high at all

Any collector that's looking for a rare anniversary Trans Am is looking for the 1989 Trans Am Pace Car, not the 15th anniversary TA

It's selling for 8,500, you can't even buy a high mileage daily driven 89 Turbo for that price.....

it may not be know but trust me it will be, just look at how 1st gens turned out. back in the early 80s u could get one for dirt cheap cause no one wanted them. now youd be lucky to find one for under 20k. And 8k isnt alot for a good 15th theyre usually around 16k for one in great shape.

Yes indeed its overpriced. Sounds like a dealer who thinks Trans Ams are the Sh$$ trying to sell it to someone that that just thought they were cool back in the day. Lol its an 84 Trans Am, not exactly a stellar performer.

oh, I'm not interesting in BUYING that car... I just thought it was clean for having 80,000 miles... besides, I already have a "rare" bird. There were only 2500 1983 25th Anniversary Daytona 500 Pace Car Trans Am's made but that's not why I bought my car. I don't think there are going to be any third gens that are going to be "worth something some day" because they're "rare." If they're going to be worth something it'll be because they're in nice shape. I only bought my car because it was in really good shape, 42,000 miles, owned by an older guy that lived just down the street from me who had it since '85 and I talked him down to $6250. I hadn't even seen an '83 Pace Car edition b4 I bought my car and I didn't know my car was one until after I decided to buy it. I definitely wouldn't buy a thirdgen on the presumption that since it's a special edition it'll be worth something... just MHO.
