tunedport nametag customized!!
hey i just thought id let you guys know about my latest successful endevour. ive seen that tpis makes one of those custom nametags for the top of the plenum, but i didnt like it much , (you know where it says on tuned ports "tuned port injection") so i decided to customize my own. well i used a sanding wheel on my dremel and sanded the lettering off and polished the whole name plate. i then printed out the text i wanted on the name plate on my printer and then taped it on the polished plate. i then took a dremel bit made for doing like fine detail work and proceeded to trace out the text. i then ripped out the left over paper and touched up the newly etched lettering and then polished the screws and put it back on. im sorry i dont have pics but let me tell you it came out awesome with a little patience the letters came out great and now it says what i want while adding a little custom touch and shine to the engine....

well...
i knew you guys would have a heart attack for me not posting the pics
but i have no way at least right now to have pics... it says Desiree in a script font perfectly centered on the tab its my girlfriends stage name and it also is like that movie "a street car named desire" im sorry i dont have pics but just picture that plate shining like crome with a engraging od desiree right in the middle in script. it really came out perfect. ill try to get a pic in the future but if youve ever thought about doing this its well worth it and easy.

I am not to keen on the Desiree on the plate...Looks like something a female would put on the car...but the idea is pretty damn cool!!!

I definitely like the idea, but to me it looks like you need to contrast it somehow. It looks kinda dull with the Silver on Silver look. Mine's not a cutom one, but I painted the plate to make it look anodized, and it stands out a lot better.
And by the way, be carefull dating a stripper. I've dated a couple and it would've been cheaper to put a blower and nitrous on my car. But in the meantime, Enjoy.

Looks neat.
I went with the easy route,

Ram Air plate from MBA I think. It was given to me last year.
Oh, and don't make fun of my gay valve covers. I only paid $30 for them and they were new in the box.
