Curious... Why do I see a transam and then the next picture has an SS emblem?
Back to the topic; everything I've read point to Zaino as being the better product. I have to agree though that it's mostly the paint. So which ever one lasts longer would probly be the better bet. In this case I think it's Zaino again.

Gold Class is good stuff. I have recently converted over to Meguairs NXT though. Gives just as good or better shine then gold class, and is way easier to take off. Nicks correct though, most of your shine is going to be decided on the paint quality.

Ive used both products (albiet zano was a new product at the time....so the forumlation of thier system might have chnaged).
I for one wasnt too impressed with it, but thats my .02. It didnt seem to hold up well the day after i was finally finished applying and drying it (at the time you were supposed to let the car sit for 24hrs with one of the products on it, to let it dry fully) i gave it longer time, next day went to a car show, ca rlooked good, but it started to springle.......then i noticed smears in the zaino finish from the rain droplets. now i have since used it on a 4th gen and my 90 and it didnt smear mind you, but i wasnt all impressed with its shine capabilities.
Now meguires.........well ive had issues with gold class too.....royal pita, least for me to remove. The shine is good though. Long lasting? Not really imo. But then again it is the easier of the 2 to apply and take off lol.
Anyways, id suggest better paint over better "wax" then just use polish

Agreed w/ the above, Paint makes the shine, more clear coat and polished up, more depth+more shine. Any good paint job is gonna shine, wet sanding and polishing makes it even better, wax is more of a protectant not a restorer. It works some but nothing IMO could be a nice wet sand and polish job.
(shane) theres some things I disagree with on your vht niteshades taillights as well but I didn't make it in time to post.
