Picked up another Bird

Picked this up yesterday since I wanted the Recaro leather seats which I will repair and dye black and put them into my 86 Trans Am.
Not too bad for 4 bills.

How can you tell it's an 85? No 3rd brake light?

It's got a 2.8 with a T5. It's really slow.

Base 85 Bird', no third brake light. First year for the "bumperettes" on the bumpers. Last year for that style taillight.

"Bills" as in a hundred dollar bill.

Nice find, plans for this? Take what you want and part the rest?

the car looks pretty clean. Looks like a new exhaust. Hell the rims look like they could get you most of your money back already.

I actually paid with 14 bills:10 $20's and 4 $50's.
The wheels are 15's.

I am not sure what I am going to do with the car. I just wanted the seats.

Just yesterday I was thinking that maybe I should put the 4th gen dash and drivetrain into this car since it is a hard top.

Oh, and the A/C blows really cold too.

I may sell it to my friend after I put some regular seats in her. He expressed interest in it the other day.

those door panels look pretty good too, you going to reuse those with the recaro seats or they just basic equipment?

What do you think those seats came from? They're not original to the Bird obviously.
