How does it look??

I made this today with a template I found from a link off a thirdgen member. Then spent a little while making it look like a Autometer Gauge. Its exact size on my file, I just pasted it on my dash for show.

Think It could look ok? It has a Tach too, just havent finished it. Then I would make the other two the same. My other gauges are Ultra lites, and I took the exact color(well off the website pic) so it should be pretty close to the right color

Just want opinions...

Edit: Finished Tach, didnt like the autometer at the bottom and took it off

the 140mph mark is probably the same as the stock locatoin, he probably just added the extra ones, so he can kinda tell how fast he's going if he goes over that, on my old camaro there was probably 30 km/hr needle space after the 140 until it hit the tripometer. so u figuer one u hit that ur around 170

cheers

Its a template right now, I would make it. The 1st pic is a photoshop to see how it will look.

The speed is correct, its exactly the same as the 140mph, except it continues past it. I could erase it back to 140.

Maybe this will help you out, and shows how I changed things up.

So youd like it like this.....Someone who is better at photoshop could put in the crosses to make it look just right.....

You could make these look like any gauges!

Edit: pic was HUGE, sorry, fixed it

Actually they arent white, they are the same grey as the Ultra-Lites.

If I would have made them white I would ahve put the Phantom logo on them.

Edit: you can see the color differences in the pic with all 3 gauges

MURRR if they were white i would have put the go to hell logo on them personally! not everyone in here is an expert at autometer guages and not everyone likes to COPY companies to get the name on their car. i think that is just ghey!

unfortunatly its just for looks, the mechanical limits of the speedometer wont allow the needle to go much past 145ish. however it does look nice, but i like subtle things, if it were me id try to make the gauge resemble stock as much as possible, but read up to 180mph. cool deal man.

Heck Ive only had the car up to 95mph, i really dont need much more than that, because if Im going any faster Im at the strip and they tell you on your slip

Whats wrong with using what you have to make it the way you want? It makes all my guages match(Autometer has gotten probably $1500 from me over the years). And for what....a few hours on the computer I can match all my stuff. Ill take that anyday and its free to boot. If i bought the 5" gauges I would have to deal with wiring and installing them.

This is cheap, easy, it works, and I made part of it. It also fits my budget, I have a hard time finding something wrong with the whole situation.

Looks good and i like it except for putting the AutoMeter logos on it. It would look just as good without them in my opinion.

I took out the autometer part, since I free handed most of it and it didnt look that great.

Im working on doing the fuel/amps one now. This is fun, but my wife thinks it takes too much time, lol.
