as many of you know or dont know , i acquired a mecham racing spoiler off an 84 trans am . Does anyone have any pics of an 85. I have heard that the cars were made until 86, and not very many were made in 85 or 86. I want to see what kind of two tone paint jobs they have , and if i like what they look like i think i might consider making it a mecham clone. heres a pic of mine as it sits now.

omg i cant wait for the rims either, their supposed to be done the 3rd of august . As for the wing she doesnt have one, she has a trans am pedistel spoiler and an 88 only camaro wing, they are double stacked. I want to see some pics of the elusive 85 or 86 mse ta . heres another pic of my wing.

 

i finally found a pic of one, its a crappy pic though. But look at the wing , its different than the 84 mse spoiler i have . What gives , does anyone have anymore info on the 85 or 86 models, pic of anything. I need some more pics.

 

reminds me alot of the mustang wings, sorta like a wraparound mixed with a Mecham unless my memory has failed me, if it has I'll get corrected.

 

That white MSE looks like it just has a regular areo wing spoiler used from 86-90.

 

this is off topic but.... when i saw the RAII for third gens i absolutly hated it... but it looks nice on your car i guess the bigger wing sets it off.

but i'd say time for some new wheels.... looks really good also if you paint it keep the two tone

 

well thanks, i just got my tires today from the tirerack , A+ service i might add, two days to get my tires, now im still waiting on the rims. I think the spoiler on the white mse doesnt look like a stock aerowing, it looks like it has more kick up . I just havent found any info on an 85 or 86 mse.

 

Since thery only made 3 in '85 and 20 in '86 it will be difficult to find information

It's a 84 mecham T/A and it's got the number 20 on the drivers side headlight. I know you wanted a 85 But this one is 2 tone.

as long as its a mecham im happy with pics, i love mecham cars . They always manage to look great .
