New wheels installed

I picked-up a set of 97 Trans Am chrome 16" wheels w/tires and bought a set of adapters off eBay. It looks like a different car now. I'm inspired to work on it again.

hey, I always say rims make the car... you put some nice ones on there and even though the body is still in need of some work they make ya see the potential. Keep up the work.

Looks very nice, glad to see you have some newfound motivation, Its hard sometimes but just a little mod will rekindle the spark.

On a side note and unrelated to FB 383, rims are not the end all be all as far as Im concerned. GM designed the wheels with functionality first, apprearance second, Im not about to put undue stress and fatigue on my suspension just to fit somekind of bloated frankenstien idea on the pavement. Tire rubs and wheel bearing failure is not something I want to deal with.

Now if TT2's had a gold spoke, I can be persuaded to change my opinion.

I see your point, but I have 245/50 16's and my tires rub, and that was a factory tire size! i do see where you're comin from though and I agree, in fact I cringe (sp?) every time my tires rub....

Yeah, we both have primered Firebirds that never leave the driveway but get new wheels every 2 months.
