Well? Have you? This would just seem about as r3dn3ck as you can get. But please, be honest. This is for posterity's sake.

No, but I know a friend that lost a T-top on his 4th gen TA, so he rode with only one t-top, till he went to the junk yard and got another one.

it was a hot day in a datsun 280zx with no a/c, i could reach across the car to unlatch the other t-top. It wasnt till a few weeks before i stopped driving the car when i figured out a way to take out both t-tops without having to get out of the car. I hated that car.

yes because I could not unlock the other one. Of course I also did it when I was carrying a large plant and the only way it would fit was throught the ttop and it was very cold that day.

I've seen people on the road with one t-top out and it looks very ghey. It's actually worse than the geeks with convertibles who drive with the top down and the door windows down... but the rear side windows up (LeBarons and such, I know thirdgens don't have rear side windows, no need to tell me).

Everytime I see that I want to break the windows out with a bat.

I hate that too. My mom does that in her 86 mustang. It bugs me everytime I see that too. I always wonder if people do it on purpose or are that clueless.

Anyway I would never dive with one t-top off. Looks horrible.

Car: currently thirdgenless!!!
I do it when I have a lot of short trips to make running errands and don't want to leave the car open. I usually put it behind the drivers seat in those instances and just pop in it when I get out of the car.

I did it, only once, but it was not intentional.

Well... you see... uh..... the girlfriend and I were... playing around.... out behind an old building.... and like, someone drove back there. So we took off in our single t-top glory.

But aside from that exception.... no... 1 t-top out is retarded, what's the point?
