got the car repainted, final pics (56K watch out)

Check out the Body and Interior board for progress pics. Got some from before a car show on Saturday. Will have some more tomorrow to show a few more of the details

And yes, the rear wheels stick out way too far. They aren't mine though and aren't staying on the car. Might try and get the right offset ones though.

Nice pictures!
The 3rdgen looks pretty nice....awesome paint job.
I also like those rims.
The front sits perfect, just get the correct offset rim and slam the rear too!

Keep up the good work!

Those wheels are centerline thrusters, right? I was looking at getting those before I decided to get the matrix wheels. I didn't know how they would look on a thirdgen, but now I have my answer and they look great. Your car is really looking nice with the new paint.

Tommy and Kandied, I've always admired both of your rides. It think it was your car Tommy that originally made me want to lower mine. Thanks for yours and the other compliments.

Nazzz28, I know the wheel are Centerlines, but I have no clue what the actual wheel name is, they belong to a friend of the guy who painted the car who just wanted to put them on for a car show on Saturday. I'm considering getting a set with the correct offset, but I may go with something else altogether.

Digging the new paint job and the wheels look right at home except the offset in the rear! Keep up the great work and keep posting pics!

No problem buddy! I feel great knowing that I have inspired a fellow thirdgenner. My recent inspiration for my brake upgrades came from Kandied...thanks Kandied!

Brake upgrades are definitely in the line-up down the road, got other plans first though. In fact one of my original websites I made for a class a while back, I used a photo of your car on it I liked it so much.

got more pics Here you can really see how bad the offset is on the rear wheels. I cant believe they took it to the car show like that, but oh well, my wheels are back on it now. Also, now you can actually see the stripes. well, in some of the pics anyway

like the subtle stripes...what color/dye was used for that? quit driving it though unless you change those wheels. you'll chip up the quarters badly.

That really looks nice!
Do the vents in the gfx have more blue in them or is that just how the light is hitting the paint?

looks good besides the rear wheel ordeal.... looks to me that the drivers side sticks out more than your passenger side.. you might want to look into that... possibly need an adjustable panhard rod?

Slap me twice and call me stupid....

What exactly causes the wheels to be offset like that?

Your car is an exact copy of mine only in black... has me thinking about painting it now
