my concept drawing

here is a drawing i did of how i want my car to look. sorry im not the greatest artist but i did my best. the hood is supposed to be the super duty hawks hood. but still not decided on the hood either the super duty or a ram air 1. the paint will be a glossy black but the flames will either be black cherry red or a dark grey (visit my homepage and vote on poll) the wing will be a slightly modded 4th gen wrap around. and dont worry the flame job will look a hell of a lot better than the drawing. comments anyone?
thanx to devianb for the outline of the trans.

looks pretty good, i'd suggest adding some wheel design as well, just to finish it off

they will be sort of ghost like since the color of the flames will almost be black. so from far away or in the shade it will look all black but in sunlight and close up you will see the flames.

use a ruler on things that have a straight line next time, it might look a lot less like a "Jerry's Kid" camaro

camarostud: the rims are Foose Thrusters. alot of people are telling me to just go with Boyds smootie 2 because they look the same but i think these have a more sharper edge running down the middle so it makes it look more gothic for a darker feeling to it. i love em.

and as i said before im not a good artist at all so yea it looks like crap so maybe i am a "jerrys-kid" (insert tard smiley) lol

thanx for making it darker. the drawing looks better in person but the scanner kinda screwed it up.

ok im gonna say this one last time, with the car being black and the flame color being just a few shades lighter or with a red tint they will look ghost like. i would go ghost but i dont like the clear look so i wanted more of a color to it. and thanx alot CaysE for the color i think i might want to go with the grey flames but i like what u did with the red how it was black on the nose then faded to the flames. thats how i wanted it and i didnt even have to tell u lol. lets hear u guys votes grey flames or red? and ram air 1 or super duty? thanx alot u guys i cant wait to "get r done"

My suggestion, if you will have the money, is to have the car black, and paint the flames in a pearl black. Pearl black is always lighter than actual black, and you can give it a slightly redish tint. I like the gray, but the red does it for me.

So to sum up, I vote for pearl black flames, redish tint, on the black body. Super duty hood. Make it functional if possible.

I like the black with red flames. Im not a fan of those wheels but it looks good with the theme of the car. I think ima use that idea for a maro drawing now. Thats a good job on coloring Cayse.

I personally like the ram air I hood, but i think a superduty hood would look equally awesome on your car

deathbird, i like the uniqueness you're going with on your project, makes your thirdgen stand out well. I vote for the black flames with the red tint on the black paint as well. Oh, and with the superduty hood. Btw, how expensive are those wheels going for, they look badaS.
