s-10 center caps on 91-92 z28 wheels

I am thinkins about polishing my wheels and leaving the inserts red, but I was also wondering what it would lool like it I used the s-10 caps with the red bowtie instead of the camaro caps. lets see some pics of those caps being used on a camaro.

hint:

new impala centercaps also snap in... they have the "lugnut" center, and they have a silver bowtie on a fake carbon fiber background......

I know the impala center caps are the same as the motecarlo ones which in turn are the same ones they used on the fourth gen wheels which they borrowed from the 91-92 z wheels. I would just like to see what the flat caps do for the lines of the wheels on our cars. I guess there is another question right there too. what other center caps fit these wheels? I guess yeah for GM being cheap and reusing these caps design

Honestly, everytime I see a 3rdgen running those rims or centercaps, the car looks cheapened... Its not something most people would notice, but to me, it looks like you had RS wheels on the car, and then wanted to upgrade to the Z28 wheels but could only find S10 wheels. Sounds wierd I'm sure, it just the impression I get when I see them.

Some may disagree, but IMHO the 91-92 RS/Z28 wheels were the most boring of the 3 upscale 3rdgen Camaro wheels (85-87 IROC, 88-90 IROC, and 91-92 Z28). Too flat... They always looked really small to me, especially in comparisson to the older IROC wheels. Making modifications to them (aside from paint or chrome) just makes them look that much more odd to me. I even had a 92 RS with those rims and they still looked funny. Again, just my opinion, but who knows.

Personally I think those wheels where the best ones that came on the thirdgens. But I'm kinda partial.

Good luck finding the bowtie center caps!! If you do let me know. I've been searching for like 6 months and the only place I can find a whole set is GM Parts Direct and its like $25 + shipping per cap!

I had a set of highly polished 91 Z rims....decided to sell them and put on colormatched rims. Normally I run my 17" centerlines but I like these as a change up. Most of you guys probably wont like it but in person it really makes the car look clean.

I highly agree, the speed nut look is way cooler than flat centercap.

Any pics of the entire car with those? And where did you get them from?
