Looking for painted interior trims pics

Looking for painted interior trims pics.

Seen a 4th gen that the guy used Krylon Fusion to paint interior pieces.

I think it doesn't look half bad but wouldn't chose bright blue. They have some nice satin colors now.

Just wonder how it looks in a 3rdgen.

Lets see some pics.

Really? Did you use basically the same factory color, or make a color change? I ask because the Duplicolor vinyl/fabric spray is coming off of every plastic piece I've painted with it. I prepped using mineral spirits and/or acetone, light sanding, and chemical prepped again and they still scratch every chance they get. I swear a good sneeze would pull some off. The only things I haul in the TA are groceries and the occasional overnight bag and it still looks like ****.

The carpet is wearing back to the original grey already too, but the vinyl center console sides/lid and the door panels are doing better, but the lid is already wearing through 3 coats. I would recommend using Duplicolor on vinyl only if anything

The two plastic panels that I used Marhyde plastic/vinyl dye on are still perfect without any scratches. When I ran out, I use the Duplicolor and I hate myself for not searching out more Marhyde.

The only part I still like about my interior is the seats redone in Hawks' Hampton vinyl.

Well that is what that Krylon Fusion is for. It stick to plastic parts well. Not suppose to scratch flake or peel easy. Suppose to stick to just about anything with little prep, and dry to a smooth hard shiny finish.

But I haven't tried it yet.

Walmart had a bunch of mate finish colors in Fusion buthere is the color list from the website.

I wonder what Nickel Shimmer - 2338
&
Pewter Gray - 2439
look like. Seams like no one carries the whole color selection.

It also is glossy and doesnt have the same shean as stock panels do, duplicolor has the exact same shean and the panels texture come right through so it looks stock.

thats wy i went w/ duplicolor, besides i never haul anything around in my car, and if i did I would just put a thick blanket over the pieces to prevent scratching.

The Duplicolor wears off. The Marhyde can be shined just like stock panels. The Fusion stuff already has a glossy sheen...

I like the shine of the Fusion paint. Long as it hard n durable. And so it seam so. Most newer cars all the plastic trim is shiny. Weather it had wood grain or carbon fiber, It shiny smooth for easy cleaning.

Walmart needs to restock before I can even try.

I only painted the trim right sthat go back to the gauges... and some vents, which i may replace later.

Id be careful... too much color inside can look awfully tacky. Even mine is tacky by some peoples taste...
