For those who remember my RS: pics

Some of you know I wrecked my black RS a while back. Well, I was in the middle of fixin it back up ,then my wife (now ex-wife) decided to go psycho one day and took a bat to it. I pulled the drivetrain out and my wheels at least. But my SS hood is gone. I finally got some pics of it. I only have em on disk right now, so I'll have to multi post.
Before pic is my sig.
After pic is this:

When I bring my new Z28 over, I'm going to call ahead and make sure she's not there. I'd hate for her to think that you rebuilt the car and she goes ape **** on mine

I'd say you're lucky to be alive, guess you weren't there and the car was. Ouch!

Like to have those red front seats, way too far away.

I was thinking the same thing. Not that its any of my business (its not, i agree), but with the proportion of how upset you seem about the car versus the dissolution of your marraige, i can take a few guesses at why she did it. :lala:

She's bi-polar, for those of you who knows what that is. She's been off her medication for a while and just went on a bad trip. It's been a couple months since she did it. The new Z helped me get over the RS though. And, I forgot how fun it was being single

This would be one of those rare occasions in which it should be completely legal to seek revenge. In the immortal words of Vincent Vega "What's more chicken than messing with a man's automobile? I mean, you just don't mess with another man's vehicle".

Seeking revenge with a woman will just about always put you in jail, and the domestic violence charge will cause you problems forever. In some states you can't even buy/carry a gun. You did the right thing, tough as it was, get out and separate, burn the bridge.

I don't know what I would have done if any women ever did that to my car I thought it was funny when you told me "my wife took a bat to my car" and I said "I'm guessing she's not your wife anymore" lol. Good decision on that. The new one looks awesome so at least something good came out of it. sad pics though of teh RS

Actually, the RS would leave the new Z in a cloud of smoke. I put a lot money and time into it,including a complete drivetrain swap. I'm pretty sure my wife, correction: ex-wife, didn't enjoy the amount of time and money I spent on the car, even though I made it clear before we got married and made sure it was ok with her, that she realized how much cars will always be a part of me. That's my hobby and my work.
