Some Progress Pics
Well I brought my car in for body and paint the second week of July....it's still in there. When it's finished Ill list all the new stuff etc, but I just wanted to show where it's at. It was an 86 sport coupe, but it's slowly and unintentionally transformed into a Z28, but I think it looks better now having the new nose and so on. I wont tell the paint color yet, but when you see it dont hate me if it's somewhat similar to a certain 'widely loved' red Z on this site
first is before it hit the shop....notice how the sport coupe bumper, and new bumper make the hood look wayyy different

Yea, it's taking alot longer than expected, and should. Out of the 3 months its been in there, I counted about 5 weeks where it sat untouched in a corner. The reason they gave me was that 'they gotta take the insurance vehicles first'. Well nonetheless they still pissed me off, but now are getting hard to work on it. Oh, and when I said mods, I guess I was getting a little ahead of myself on that. What I meant was that they have done a ton of work to this car since it went in there. Handles were shaved, new hood, new front and rear bumpers, gfx, windshield, dents pulled. And to my suprise when they peeled the old gfx off there was some rust underneath that they had to repair. Im happy to say that Im also 100% bondo free! BTW, the hoo also had a bunch of waves and imperfections on it as well so they've been working it over like crazy. Got the 5in spoiler the other week as well. Thanks for the comments, and Firebird 383, I agree with your statement.
