It would be different but without actually seeing it, I'd say that it wouldn't look that great. Just because it may not follow the lines of the car. Considering 1st gens were a little more "rounded" were the 3rd gens are more symetrical(I think?). After the photoshop though we'll have to see.

maybe with 91-92 style ground effects, it may look pretty good and complement the aero scoops on the side skirts and nose.

I saw a 2nd gen at a show with that done to it. It looked a little out of place, but not too bad. However, on the straight lines of the 3rd gen - I don't know...
I have some pics of the 2nd gen somewhere. I can find them if you'd like to see.

I don't think it would look good because the first gens have a bit more space there. I think if you put them on a third gen, they would look kinda 'shoved' in there. Very interesting idea though.

Those 'gills' you are talking about aren't painted on... they are stamped into the 1/4 panel.

I think Hockey Stick stripes would look cooler.

Yup, doubt youd have enough space to intergrate it properly.

Def. wouldnt look good, Chrome vents would not look good on a thirdgen and it'd prob. give it a trashy look. You would have to work fiberglass vents like the rear of Saleen's out back.

LOL i just copied an pasted the section on that 69 onto my car. The angle is a bit off but you get sorta an idea.
As far as the fender goes, it should look alright.

maybe on a car w/o the bumpstrips....with them it looks too crowded...
You would have gfx then fin then bumpstrip looks like the gap may only be an inch bw them...

flop it and try to shop it in behind the wheel well instead...
hmmm then again it might be too tall

Thats cuz those are for a 4thgen... if you got a set for a 3rdgen, then it would follow the 3rdgen's body lines right and look really good.
