If i was to get an Ascd hood, etc the ram air, (im not too sure what hood i want cause i cant afford much)
but my question is how can i make it functional, is it possible to attach a ram air box to a 91 bird?

right now i have a great ghetto rig,
i went to the store and nabbed some tubing, then connected it to my airfilter housing, then stretched it around engine, under sway bar, and to front bumper, waaam baam money gram,
i got my cold Air induction

Hey man, I bought that ASCD ram air hood. You can cut it to open up the vents to the car and work your way from there, but careful cutting it, looks like I have to cut through a first layer of fiberglass, then a second layer to the vents. Oh and I cut the back of the part that raised up on the winsheild. So in a way, its a cowl induction hood too.

Hey Man, you Got a Really nice Bird there,
and the hood looks great on it, how much did you pay for yours? i think i saw it in next gen for like 400$

I think that type of hood would look REALLY nice on a black firebird. I would deffinely look into it. Try looking for a different company besides ASCD. They suck. Took them 12 weeks to get the hood here and I had to make it functional.

Who else do you recomend, cause i saw suncosts hoods, and they were just damn expensive, frekin 700 bucks, daaam,
cause its gotta be well priced cause on the other side of the pic, you get to see some nice handy werk of someone, who did a hit and run on me.
so i get to have fun payin for that as well, with a paint job, so the hoods gotta be reasonably priced.

I say save up and buy from suncoast. Ask them if the vents are functional too. Tell them u have an open element on your intake.
